Description:
Elicit
Elicit is a digital Artificial Intelligence tool that works as a research assistant. Through user feedback, Elicit's website indicates that it speeds up literature reviews, makes it easier to find documents, automates systematic reviews and meta-analyses, and provides more information about these references. Elicit allows you to ask a question or query, and from there, it automatically generates an summary that includes different bibliographic references with the basic characteristics of each one. The AI displays the bibliographic references in a table, which can be sorted by most relevant, cited, or recent. It can also incorporate a filter based on the year of publication, journal quality, study type, or summary keywords. You can create new columns with new information in the reference information table, review each article added in its extended version, and add new steps such as creating a new table from selected documents, summarizing summaries of selected articles, generating AI-powered conversations about the documents, asking a new question and finding more articles, extracting data from uploaded documents, and obtaining a list of concepts. Elicit allows you to incorporate bibliographic references from the Zotero manager.

Example:
A professor wants to encourage students' ability to research and consult bibliographic sources. To this end, he encourages the use of Elicit in academic projects such as final dissertations and master's thesis, with contributions to systematic reviews and the state of the art on the topic they are working on.

A professor uses Elicit to improve her academic field through the "library" feature, where she can connect to documents added to her Zotero bibliographic manager and generate a query based on that data.
