Description:
Quizlet is a tool that allows you to create interactive activities to prepare for a study unit. Content is easily created by defining terms and definitions. Once created, the content is automatically configured in the different activity and game modes provided by the tool (flashcards, sorting, writing, or spelling).
It can be used for any type of content, but it's especially recommended for language learning. You can match a definition to its concept or select the correct answer from several options. For language learning, it allows you to match/select an image or write the word you hear in another language.
Example:
A professor from the University of La Laguna's Language Service creates flashcards with the unit's vocabulary to improve his students' learning of these words.
An education teacher asks students to create flashcards to work with children with learning needs using pictograms.
