  • Learning outcomes: Students are expected to complete the learning of the skills and abilities to adequately present research results in various formats. Students who have at least one JCR-indexed publication related to the research line of their Doctoral Thesis will be exempt from carrying out this activity.
  • Language: Spanish.

Seminars and conferences of the program

  • Number of hours: 15
  • Description: This is an activity organized by the doctoral program in Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Development and Quality of Life in coordination with the Master's Degree in Biomedicine, Master's Degree in Biotechnology, Master's Degree in Research, Management and Quality in Health Care, Master's Degree in Research and Diagnosis of Tropical Diseases and Master's Degree in Food Safety and Quality, Master's Degree in General Health Psychology and Master's Degree in Cognitive Neuroscience and Specific Educational Support Needs. Seminars and conferences by program professors and guest professors on current research in the fields of work related to the different lines of research of the program will be periodically organized.
  • Time planning: this will be annual (first and second semester) and will be recommended from the first year onwards for both full-time and part-time students. The period in which this activity will be carried out may cover the entire duration of the PhD studies.

  • Learning outcomes: Students must be able to have a critical attitude in the scientific context with regard to the content presented in these seminars and conferences, thereby fostering their capacity for self-criticism and analysis of scientific knowledge. They must also be able to express their own opinions orally and in writing and discuss them with other researchers.
  • Spanish
  • Character: mandatory.
  • Control procedure: Time planning: This will be annual (first and second semesters) and is recommended starting in the first year for both full-time and part-time students. This activity may be carried out throughout the duration of the doctoral studies.
  • Mobility: this activity may be validated if, during the "Stays at Research Centers" activity, the student proves his/her attendance at seminars and conferences (validatable for the hours completed up to 15) at said research centers related to the topic of his/her Doctoral Thesis and with the approval of the Academic Committee of the doctoral program.

Entrepreneurship and Employability Workshop

  • Number of hours: 20
