Regarding the collaborations the doctoral program has with other universities or with national and international organizations and institutions, a distinction must be made between those collaborations articulated through specific agreements and those of an informal nature.

As for the former, the following should be mentioned:

The University of La Laguna has entered into specific collaboration agreements relevant to research and pre-doctoral training in the field of law with the European Commission, the University of Bologna, the Association of Property and Commercial Registrars of Spain, and the Department of Equality of the Government of the Canary Islands. These agreements make resources (material or personnel) available to the ULL for research purposes. These agreements will be discussed in detail in section 7. Material Resources.

In addition, the Faculty of Law has active Erasmus exchange agreements (at the doctoral student level) with the following universities:

HEINRICH HEINE UNIVERSITY DUSSELDORF (Dusseldorf, Germany)

UNIVERSITÄT ROSTOCK (Rostock, Germany)

UNIVERSITÉ DE PARIS CITÉ (Paris, France)

UNIVERSITE OF POITIERS (Poitiers, France)

NATIONAL AND KAPODISTRIAN UNIVERSITY OF ATHENS (Athens, Greece)

SZEGEDI TUDOMANYEGYETEM-UNIVERSITY OF SZEGED (Szeged, Hungary)

ALMA MATER STUDIORUM-UNIVERSITÁ DI BOLOGNA (Bologna, Italy)

UNIVERSITA DEGLI STUDI DI CAGLIARI (Cagliari, Italy)

UNIVERSITÁ DEGLI STUDI DI CATANIA (Catania, Italy)

UNIVERSITÀ KORE DI ENNA (Enna, Italy)

UNIVERSITA DEGLI STUDI DI FOGGIA (Foggia, Italy)

UNIVERSITÀ DEGLI STUDI DI MODENA E REGGIO EMILIA (Modena, Italy)

UNIVERSITÀ DEGLI STUDI DI PALERMO (Palermo, Italy)

UNIVERSITA DEGLI STUDI DI SALERNO (Fisciano, Italy)

UNIVERSITA DEGLI STUDI DI VERONA (Verona, Italy)

UNIVERSIDADE DO MINHO (Braga, Portugal)

KAZIMIERZ WIELKI UNIVERSITY (Bydgoszcz, Poland)

UNIVERSITY OF GDANSKA (Gdansk, Poland)

UNIVERSITY OF WARSAW (Warsaw, Poland)

UNIVESYTET WROCLAWSKY (Wroclaw, Poland)

In addition to the above, there are agreements that, while not covering doctoral students, do provide for faculty exchanges with the following universities: Hassel; Bielefeld; Heinrich Heine; Maribor; Sibiu; Spoleczna Akademia Nauk; Salento; Verona; and Suor Orsola Benincasa.

It should also be noted that the ULL has signed numerous non-EU agreements, which are available at the following link. https://www.ull.es/internacional/convenios/Some of them, such as the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico and the Colegio de la Frontera Norte, offer exchange programs for postgraduate and doctoral programs.

All information on international mobility is available on the Erasmus portal of the ULL's institutional website: https://www.ull.es/portal/erasmus/movilidad/ Regarding informal collaborations, it should be emphasized that the program's faculty maintains close contact with professors from various universities; in some cases, through their membership in thematic networks; in other cases, through their participation in research projects led by faculty from other institutions; and finally, through frequent participation in courses and seminars organized and held by the various universities.

It is also worth mentioning that the doctoral program's faculty has participated (or continues to do so) in projects at various Spanish universities: Autonomous University of Madrid, University of Castilla-La Mancha, Complutense University of Madrid, University of Deusto (Chair of Law and Human Genome), UNED, University of Granada, University of La Coruña, University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, University of the Basque Country, Rovira i Virgili University, University of Salamanca, University of Santiago de Compostela, and University of Valladolid, which highlights the existence of numerous collaborations with other Spanish universities.

Furthermore, program faculty have participated in doctoral courses or research seminars organized by national universities (particularly the Universities of La Coruña, Malaga, Salamanca, Santiago de Compostela, and Seville) and international universities (Benevento, Bergamo, Bologna, Kiel, and Trieste). It is also worth mentioning the close ties between program faculty and the faculty of the University of Pisa's Faculty of Law, whose Dean has participated in courses and seminars at the ULL Faculty of Law on two occasions; also with the faculty of the Faculty of Law of the Federico II University of Naples, as well as with prominent figures in Italian comparative law (Lucio Pegoraro of the University of Bologna and Mauro Bussani of the University of Trieste).

It is also worth highlighting the annual celebration of two scientific events: the "Juan Miquel Seminar on Comparative Law," which reached its 24th edition in 2022, and the "International Conference on Business and Law," which has already reached its 5th edition in 2022. Both events bring together leading national and international researchers and are primarily aimed at training doctoral students. In this regard, it is worth highlighting the wealth of scientific exchanges directly linked to the aforementioned seminars, which have often resulted in invitations to other universities, the signing of Erasmus agreements, or the exchange of doctoral students between institutions.

Finally, it should be noted that, through the Tomás y Valiente Cultural Chair, the Faculty of Law has been hosting doctoral students in recent years who, under the auspices of its Erasmus+ Internship agreement, carry out a period of doctoral research with a section on Comparative Law and undertake the commitment to write an article for publication in the Annals of the Faculty of Law (an annual journal, available in open access https://www.ull.es/revistas/index.php/derecho) and a seminar for the PDI.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
