Specific Training Certificate in Emerging Viruses. Basic Level

The WHO indicates in its reports that, in this globalized world, with global warming, our increasing economic activity, and the unsustainable exploitation of the planet's resources, which brings us into contact with pathogens and new viruses in the ecosystems we are transforming and destroying, a disease will emerge at any moment, likely due to a respiratory virus that, in less than 48 hours, will kill more than 50 million people and affect more than 51% of the global economy. To confront these crises, the WHO and other global public health and scientific organizations recommend strategies and actions prepared to address them. Specialized training in these viruses and associated diseases is one of the pillars of the "Preparedness" action that must be carried out. And this is the main objective of this Specific Training Certificate in Emerging Viruses: Basic Level.
