Overview

This micro-credential empowers students to design and implement innovative, high-quality educational practices aligned with clear learning outcomes and assessment criteria. Furthermore, it enables them to critically analyze proposals for teaching innovation, evaluating their relevance, methodology, and transferability, and to implement and evaluate innovative projects within their university context, incorporating impact indicators and improvement plans.

Goals

  • Identify the requirements for an innovative and high-quality educational practice, aligned with clear learning outcomes and assessment criteria. 
  • Analyze and critically evaluate various proposals for educational innovation, distinguishing their relevance, methodological soundness, and transferability. 
  • Design, implement and evaluate innovation proposals in your university context, incorporating impact indicators and improvement plans.

Methodology and activities

Regarding the way to organize the teaching to achieve the objectives set out in the micro-credential, the organizational modality summarized below will be followed:

MD1. Lectures/expository method: presentation or explanation by the teaching staff.

MD2. Practical classes: activities supervised by the teaching staff in the classroom.

MD3. Seminars: carrying out exercises, solving problems or practical cases.

MD4. Individual work: individual preparation of work, projects or reports.

MD5. Group work: group preparation of work, projects or reports.

MD9. Exhibitions, debates and presentation of works and projects. 

MD10. Active methodologies: cooperative learning, case studies and problem solving.

Evaluation criteria

The microcredential will have an evaluation system (ES) based on the following assessment tests: 

SE6. Attendance, participation or attitude in teaching activities: monitoring student attendance and participation in teaching activities, carrying out activities during teaching sessions (40%). 

SE7. Written works, reports and projects: document prepared on a topic or activity carried out, following the instructions established by the teaching staff (60%).

The final grade will be the sum of the grades obtained in each of the assessment tasks. To obtain this final grade, students must achieve a minimum score of 50% in each of the assessment tasks.
