This training offers a practical and accessible overview of artificial intelligence applied to the professional environment. It is aimed at individuals who wish to understand the potential of these technologies and use them to improve their productivity and efficiency at work. Throughout the program, generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot are presented, along with real-world use cases for tasks such as content creation and editing, data analysis, idea generation, meeting transcription, presentation development, and translation. Furthermore, the main ethical, legal, and social challenges associated with the adoption of artificial intelligence in organizations are addressed.
The main objective of this course is to offer accessible and practical introductory training on artificial intelligence and its applications in the workplace, enabling students to understand its fundamentals, identify its most common uses, and use AI-based tools efficiently, ethically, and securely. Through a practice-oriented methodology, it aims to foster advanced digital literacy, improve employability, and facilitate adaptation to a changing professional environment, thus contributing to personal and professional development.
Admission will be granted in order of registration on the micro-credential until the maximum number of students is reached.
This training offers a simple and practical introduction to artificial intelligence, geared towards any professional who wants to update their skills and leverage these technologies in their daily work. Through real-world examples and practical exercises, it explores tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot, among many others, and demonstrates how to apply them to activities such as copywriting, data analysis, creative work, meeting transcription, presentation creation, and translation, to name a few. The program also includes a review of the ethical, legal, and social challenges posed by the adoption of AI in the professional environment. This content is organized into four modules:
MD1. Lectures/expository method: presentation or explanation by the teaching staff.
MD3. Seminars: carrying out exercises, solving problems or practical cases, among others.
MD4. Individual work: individual preparation of assignments/projects/reports, portfolio…
MD6. Personal study: preparation for tests, exams, etc.
MD7. Assessment: written tests, oral tests, practical tests…
MD8. Tutoring: instruction period in which teachers and students interact with the aim of reviewing and discussing materials and topics presented in class.
MD9. Exhibitions, debates and presentation of works and projects: activities supervised by the teaching staff.
SE1. Objective tests (true/false, multiple choice, test type, fill-in-the-blank, ordering, etc.): These are measurement instruments that allow the evaluation of knowledge, skills, performance, aptitudes, etc. The answers are closed, and objectivity is favored when correcting them.
SE7. Works, memoirs, internship memoirs, reports and written projects: document prepared on a topic or activity carried out, following the instructions established by the teaching staff.
