Competencies
One of the objectives of the Master's Degree in Continuing Education in Conference Interpreting is to contribute to lifelong learning from a university perspective. In this regard, the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) constitutes a reference for promoting lifelong learning. In line with this framework, this postgraduate degree guarantees, as a minimum, the following knowledge, skills, and competencies, corresponding to EQF level 7:
- CB1. Students will possess and understand highly specialized knowledge, some of it cutting-edge in a specific field of work or study, which lays the foundation for original thinking or research.
- CB2. That students acquire critical awareness of knowledge issues in a specific field and at the point of articulation between different fields.
- CB3. That students develop specialized skills for problem-solving in research or innovation, with a view to developing new knowledge and procedures, and integrating knowledge in various fields.
- CB4. Students should be able to manage and transform work or study contexts.

- CG1. Effectively master oral communication in the working languages.

- CG4. Have the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to practice IC.
- CG5. Know how to solve problems independently and flexibly in the professional practice of conference interpreting.
- CG6. Master the neurolinguistic and psychoaffective mechanisms involved in interpretation.
