The Final Degree Project (TFG) is a compulsory subject and is key to the degree, since it includes the evaluation of a large number of specific and generic competencies of the Degree..
Registration Requirements
To complete the Final Degree Project, students must have completed 180 credits corresponding to the first three years of the degree. They must also enroll in all required credits and any internships they have left to complete.
Requirements Evaluation
Article 4.3 Regulations for the Final Degree Project (published BOULL 04/20/2022)
To ensure that the TFGs are appropriate for the characteristics of the Degree, students are provided with guidance and direction through one or two tutors assigned from among the list of tutors and proposed topics.
The TFG consists of an individual work carried out autonomously by the students, with teacher supervision, with an assignment of 120 hours of work of the student. It will be related either to the analysis of the professional practice of anthropologists or to the study of the theoretical foundations of Social and Cultural Anthropology, and may also have a theoretical-empirical nature. For its assessment, a written thesis will be required, in addition to its oral presentation and defense.
To improve the development of the subject and facilitate the preparation of the TFG Report and its public defense, specific criteria are established, which can be consulted in the Course Teaching Guide and the Final Degree Project Regulations. The presentation and oral defense of the Final Degree Project will be carried out following the procedure established in the applicable regulations.
The delivery of the TFG Memories will be done through the established telematic procedure, through the headquarters. UA copy of the report will also be submitted to the virtual classroom for the TFG subject. Both submissions will be made one week before the submission date.
The deadline for submitting the report will be announced along with the publication of the schedule and composition of the panels responsible for evaluating the Final Projects. Projects submitted after the deadline will not be processed and will not be eligible for a panel defense.
Regarding the management and coordination of the Final Degree Project, you can consult the teaching guide of said subject.
