Mathematics Course 0
Society and the business world require experts capable of effectively responding to the accounting and financial management, advisory, and evaluation needs of companies, banks, and insurance companies. Future Accounting and Finance graduates receive training in their specific areas, such as accounting, auditing, finance, taxation, and so on. Their preparation also encompasses other disciplines in the fields of economics, law, mathematics, statistics, and so on, as well as sufficient language skills, primarily English. They will be professionals capable of managing budget control, treasury management, cost management, and, in general, the field of financial auditing.
The degree will train professionals with skills in the design of accounting systems and the generation of accounting and financial reports for companies. The degree also provides training for developing skills in the world of financial markets, advising investors and companies that interact in them.
New students should be curious about the world of finance and business, the accounting and financial aspects of a company, and motivated to understand how financial markets work. They should have a solid foundation in mathematics and be comfortable with analytical and deductive reasoning. Finally, it is important that they are willing or willing to tackle unstructured problems, for which there are no immediately applicable "recipes." They should also possess the intellectual drive to evaluate the impact and consequences of decisions.
The degree in Accounting and Finance will train professionals who will pursue careers in the areas of investment analysis and management, banking, external and internal auditing, consulting, advisory services, and financial management.
The future graduate will be able to integrate into any functional area of a company or organization and effectively perform any management task, design accounting information systems in the areas of budget control, planning, cost control, as well as issue advisory reports on companies and markets.
Consequently, you will be able to access professional practice in the private sector, the public sector, and financial oversight bodies, in international, national, regional, or local administrations, as well as research and teaching. You can also work as an auditor and accountant; a business consultant; finance and insurance departments or management; administration and accounting departments; and a financial analyst.
