Internships

The subject of External Internships The Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of La Laguna is mandatory and aims to provide students with a professional environment. These courses are offered in companies or institutions with an agreement and do not constitute an employment relationship.

There are two types: curricular (mandatory, part of the curriculum) and  extracurricular activities (volunteers).

Curricular Practices

  • Requirement: It is essential to have enrolled in the course during the current academic year and to have passed 150 credits of the curriculum.
  • Duration: 450 hours (18 ECTS credits); 375 hours at the institution, 15 hours for attending tutorials, and 60 hours allocated to developing employability skills (25 hours of in-person courses and 35 hours of independent work). This independent work time is used to prepare the Final Internship Report and to carry out the activities outlined in the academic tutorials.
  • Each student has an external tutor (from the company) and an academic tutor (from the ULL).
