Teaching coordination will be carried out on a quarterly basis. At the request of the Quality Coordinator, the quarterly coordinator is proposed from among the teaching staff with teaching duties in the quarter of the given academic year and his/her appointment is approved by the Dean at the Faculty Board. The quarterly coordinator is responsible for coordinating the different training activities in the subjects being taught.

The Coordinator of a subject must be one of the professors with assigned teaching duties in this subject according to the Teaching Organization Plan and his/her appointment is approved by the Department Council of the Departments involved in the subject. The Subject Coordinator is responsible for both the teaching and organizational aspects of the subject in all theory or practice groups in which the subject is taught and is responsible for communicating to the Semester Coordinator any aspect related to the organization of the subject. The subject coordinator is responsible for the practical classes taught in his/her subject.
As indicated in the Teaching Guides for each subject, the first teacher listed in section “3 Teachers who teach the subject” is the subject coordinator.

The main person responsible for the organisational aspects of external internships is the Vice-Dean of Infrastructures of the Faculty of Physics who will coordinate the External Internships Committee of the Faculty of Physics.
