Internships

Students complete their training by completing the External Internships (6 credits) and the End of Degree Complement - External Internships (6 credits). These 12 ECTS credits of the External Internships will be taken by the student to obtain the Degree, according to Royal Decree 1393/2007, of October 29, with the aim of providing the student with the following skills and abilities to promote their insertion into the workforce:

  • Knowledge of the organization of professional work in studios, offices, companies and public bodies.
  • Knowledge of professional practice in studios, offices, companies and public bodies.
  • Ability to plan actions and develop projects.
  • Ability to assume responsibility for supervising a work group, assigning tasks and resources (leadership and teamwork).
  • Communication, conflict resolution and negotiation skills (human resource management).
  • Motivation for updating, innovation and research.
  • Awareness about sustainable exploitation of resources.

In order to take the External Internships, students must have passed the first 180 ECTS credits or all the subjects of the first three years of the Degree.

These internships will be carried out optionally in public bodies or in private companies in the agricultural sector. The Agricultural Engineering Section has different Framework Agreements for External Internships.
