Final Degree Project

The Final Degree Project (TFG) for the Degree in Psychology is a compulsory subject of 6 credits that is taken in the second semester of the fourth year of the degree.

It involves the student completing, independently and under the supervision of one or two tutors, a project, report, or study related to one of the subjects covered in the degree, demonstrating that the student has acquired the competencies required for the degree. This work may be completed individually or in groups, with a maximum of three students.

The contents of the TFGs of the Faculty of Psychology and Speech Therapy respond to one of the following modalities:

1. Theoretical review: Bibliographic review and research work where a critical evaluation (or meta-analysis) is carried out of the works published in the field of the discipline, during the selected period of time.
2. Research: Empirical research as a response to a relevant question, basic or applied, establishing its design and implementation, following the phases of any research process of a quantitative or qualitative nature.
3. Intervention: A project to improve or solve a specific problem in an institution or context, addressing the needs or difficulties identified.
