José Pascual Fernández He is a Full Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of La Laguna. As Director of the University Institute for Social Research and Tourism at the same institution, his research has focused on issues related to fishing, the management of marine protected areas, and governance. He has participated in numerous research projects and published extensively.
