The University Institute of Advanced Studies in Atomic, Molecular and Photonic Physics, created by the Canary Islands Autonomous Community and the University of La Laguna in 2010, has as its purpose the development of research and postgraduate training of excellence in the areas of atomic and molecular physics, applied physics and applied mathematics.
