Laboratory
Neurochemistry and Neuroimaging
The Neurochemistry and Neuroimaging Laboratory belongs to the Physiology Department of the University of La Laguna (Tenerife, Spain). Its focus is on both basic and clinical research in neuroscience.
This is an interdisciplinary research group whose main task is to conduct high-quality basic research on issues related to both clinical and non-clinical problems. The main tools used in this laboratory's research are: magnetic resonance imaging, virtual reality studies, eye-tracking, immunotherapy and biosensor studies, magnetonanoparticles, and functional brain image processing. All of these have the fundamental objective of monitoring chemical and electrical activity in the nervous system.
