The Master's Final Project (TFM) subject is compulsory and is key to the degree, since it includes the evaluation of a large number of specific and generic competencies of the degree, as can be seen in the Teaching Guide corresponding.
The Master's Thesis (MFT) involves the completion of a project following established lines or areas of research. It also consists of its presentation and defense, according to the ULL MFT regulations.
Using the learning outcomes assessment template, form, and/or report, the panels responsible for assessing the Master's Thesis assess the extent to which the degree's competencies and learning outcomes have been acquired.
General requirements for the completion of the TFM
To complete the Master's Final Project, students must meet the following general requirements:
To ensure that the Master's Thesis is appropriate for the program's characteristics, students are provided with guidance and direction through an assigned tutor from among the faculty who have taught the master's degree, based on the subject chosen by the student.
The Master's Academic Committee will approve the topics that students may request for their Master's Thesis, the tutors for these topics, the assignment criteria, the composition of the evaluation committee, which, where applicable, would judge the corresponding Master's Thesis, and the basic rules regarding style, length, and structure that the Master's Thesis report must follow.
In order to improve the development of the subject and facilitate the preparation of the TFM Report and its public defense, specific criteria are established that can be consulted in the Teaching Guide of the Subject, in the TFM regulations and instructions published for this purpose. More information.
The Master's Thesis will conclude with the defence of the thesis, which must be public. The tribunals will be made up of professors who teach in this field, appointing a president and a secretary among themselves.
