Description:
Wooclap is an interactive platform that allows you to create dynamic events or presentations with activities, with participants taking on a more active role. It allows you to create multiple-choice questions, polls, brainstorming questions, matching questions, blank board questions, fill-in-the-blank questions, guess-a-number questions, sorting questions, word clouds, open-ended questions, surveys, and more, which can be selected and added to a presentation. Presentations can be uploaded from a local file or from Google Slides (max. 50 MB). Question response times can be set in the event settings. The parameters adjusted in these settings depend on the license type.
Since these are interactive questions, you can interact with people in a physical space or remotely. At the same time, or even after completing the interactive activity, you can check the level of understanding to identify the most difficult questions. You can then download the results reports to obtain a record of the responses generated.
Example:
In a class presentation where the faculty supports their discussion with a digital presentation, the presentation slides can be interspersed with questions about knowledge, reinforcement, and in-depth questions, etc. Alternatively, a Wooclap event could be created with a series of opinion questions to determine participants' assessments of a given topic and thus enliven lectures, talks, and so on.
In a shared subject, two teachers create a joint presentation in Wooclap to streamline their sessions with students. Thanks to the tool's resource sharing and collaborative editing capabilities, they can intersperse explanations with relevant questions to ask students to check their understanding or even their level of knowledge of something before the explanation is given. This registration information is downloaded and included as an assessable activity in Moodle.
