Abstract

Corporal Destructions studies the use of the body by artists that in recent years have decided to look within and using new medical exploratory means have been able to visualise and show us inside their live bodies. Others, in their endeavour to explore further, have been unsatisfied with mere exploration and have extracted entrails and fluids presenting them to us as the remains of the life they represented, or in extreme cases, have directly exposed human cadavers and everything that these lifeless bodies are capable of generating.
