Abstract

Coordinated by Rebollo and Arias (2021), it addresses different topics about the need to promote gender equality within university spaces. Different chapters develop problems of inequalities and discrimination as well as proposals for improvements in these areas. The need to continue advancing on issues of gender equality and commitment to achieving a more egalitarian society is demonstrated, which is why it is necessary to make adjustments to curricular plans. Establish the need to change training plans as well as the beliefs and attitudes of teachers and students regarding the issue of gender equality to achieve greater sensitivity and empathy. In recent years, progress has been significant; different cases analyzed are across subjects and careers from different Spanish universities.
