Diferencias en la carga de estereotipicidad de género en nombres de rol: un estudio comparativo entre hablantes de español de Argentina y de España

Resumen

Desde el marco de la psicolingüística es posible investigar las complejas relaciones entre el género gramatical, los estereotipos de género y la variación lingüística y sociocultural. Varios estudios analizan si el lenguaje condiciona ciertos procesos cognitivos e influye en la interpretación y percepción de los nombres de rol. El trabajo llevado a cabo pretendía identificar algunas de las profesiones con mayor estereotipicidad masculina y femenina, además, se centraba en las potenciales diferencias dialectales entre hablantes de Argentina y de España. Participaron en total 267 informantes. Entre sus respuestas se encontraron numerosas coincidencias en los nombres de rol con sesgo masculino, pero algunas divergencias en aquellos con sesgo femenino.
