El mito del drama satírico

Abstract

^{On the basis of Aristotle's statement in the Poetics about the origin of Tragedy from the satyric spirit, the author examines the themes, plots, style and diction of Satyr-Play in order to define more accurately the existing relationships between the two dramatic genres especially in the treatment of the traditional myth. As a result one may say that beneath its apparent comicity, greek Satyr-Play has a ethical seriousness which can be perceived in the remaining fragments.}
