Solinus as a source of geographical information on Liber genealogus
Abstract
This paper offers an analysis of the use of Solinus’ work by the author of the recension of the Liber genealogus produced in the year 455. The results allow us to describe better the position and significance of Solinus in the literary context of Late Antiquity as an authoritative source of geographical information.
