Abstract

With this work we’ve tried to show how the movies have represented the lifes of four Modern Age painters —Michelangelo Buonarrotti; Caravaggio; Artemisia Gentileschi and Rembrandt van Rijn—. All of them have something in common: their controversial existences and all kinds of troubles that have suffered in their lifetimes. Moreover, they are all great painters.
