A Reading In Pictorial Key Of Th e Film Esquilacje (Josefi na Molina, 1988)
Abstract
«A reading in pictorial key of the film Esquilache(Josefina Molina, 1988)». This paper approaches the analysis of pictorial references that can be traced in the Esquilache film, directed by Josefina Molina (1988), a reflection about power and loneliness. The film is a contribution of the Cordovan filmmaker to the historical Spanish Cinema, which helps to renew with the adaptation of the play performed by Antonio Buero Vallejo A dreamer for the people. It is intended to show the intertextual relations between the original literary, film and pictorial images. Josefina Molina's film uses the iconographic references to build her filmic universe.
