Abstract

In this film made in 1945, appears right described the problematic that the mixture of genders has caused around the whole of films called Film Noir. The interest for a greater realism on light‘s treatment, the flashback, the voice offstage and the use of real outsides, gives form to a new society described in many occasions by the hard boiled ’s style; which in this occasion, it melts with the passions overflowing that surround the life of Mildred Pierce, a new victim independent and fighter, who provides the base to an argument full of elements that in the past were exclusive of the melodrama.
