Services offered to the user
- Attending the Governing Bodies: Assisting the Rector and Management in the evaluation or analysis of University Services, generating proposals for improvement or, where appropriate, sanctions and disciplinary files.
- Advisory Services: To inform the University's Centers, Departments, and Services, at the request of their heads or the Rector, on matters within their competence, as well as to obtain from them any reports deemed necessary. Likewise, to inform teaching and research staff, administrative and service staff, and students about their rights and the procedures to follow in filing complaints or grievances, as well as in any situation within the competence of this Service.
- Processing and handling of complaints: The service will be responsible for processing complaints and/or grievances regarding the inadequate or irregular functioning of University Services, managing complaints and/or grievances regarding inappropriate or irregular behavior of any member of the university community in the performance of their work, and investigating complaints and/or grievances regarding any type of harassment or discrimination suffered, receiving, in any case, the protection of the Service.
- Inspection: To inspect the performance and operation of the Centers, Departments, and Services of the University of La Laguna, verifying compliance with the regulations governing their area of competence. Likewise, to verify compliance with the obligations of University personnel and examine, where appropriate, any irregularities in the performance of their duties, as well as to verify compliance with students' obligations and propose appropriate measures.
- Quality Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of the obligations of Teaching and Research Staff, Administrative and Service Staff and Students through inspection as established in the Annual Work Plans.
