The General Technical Secretariat, Registry and University Archive Service has two sections, in addition to the Technical Support Office.
The Information and Registration Section It is responsible for the administrative management of the General Registry and the formal processing of appeals filed against decisions of academic centers in certain academic matters. In certain procedures processed at the ULL, it issues the required certified copies. It also handles the procedure for requesting the equivalence of official foreign higher education degrees to the academic level of Doctorate, and finally, it is the section in charge of processing complaints, compliments, and suggestions within this University.
The University Archives Section It comprises all documents of any nature, period, and physical format, generated, collected, or preserved by the University of La Laguna, as well as any documents that may be donated or acquired and whose location in the archive is determined. This section, which supports study, teaching, and research, has, among other functions, the responsibility of collecting, organizing, safeguarding, and preserving, as well as facilitating access to, documentation resulting from academic, scientific, and administrative activities. It is also responsible for digitizing documentation that, when circumstances permit, is considered to be of interest to the University of La Laguna.
For his part, the Technical Support Office, With dedication to the general user, it provides information about the operation of all the University's telematic applications (EBAU, Pre-registration, online registration, Web ULL, Electronic Headquarters, Student Portal, Study Portal, University Card and other ULL services), guiding users on the procedures and informing them about how they work.
The technical general secretariat, registry and university archive service also provides support to the General Secretariat in the exercise of its functions and is the service in charge of processing requests for access to public information.
