Fiber optic laser engraver and trauma motor: Advancing services at ULL

AMOUNT: 14585,95€

Acquisition of new technological equipment to expand the University's offerings. Fiber lasers are the most precise option for engraving and cutting thin sections of various materials, especially metals. These hard, resistant materials are widely used in medical applications, but their high precision also makes them ideal for customizing metals for artistic, educational, advertising, or scientific purposes. Furthermore, specialized medical equipment, such as trauma motors, is constantly evolving and adapting to the needs of the society it serves. Having at least some of these devices is essential to meet the demands of research, teaching, and scientific endeavors. Being able to address current needs is a significant advantage, but even more importantly, it allows us to adapt to future requirements.
