CAMPUSAGE. University community composting

A pilot project for community composting aims to achieve decentralized, on-site, and community-based management of the organic fraction of solid waste generated on the campuses of the University of La Laguna. The campuses are conceived as living laboratories of social innovation and sustainability, fostering transdisciplinary and collaborative service-learning, research, and knowledge transfer for the decentralized management of biodegradable organic waste. This initiative seeks to unleash the potential of university students as agents of social change and transformation.
