High-performance 3D printing

AMOUNT: 15.000,00€

Using an industrial-grade 3D printer, this project aims to provide the university community with the opportunity to manufacture parts with high-performance materials. A 3D printer is a machine capable of creating three-dimensional objects from a computer-generated design. They differ depending on the manufacturing technology they use: stereolithography (SLS), selective laser sintering (SLS), electron beam melting (EBM), material jetting (MJ), etc. The printer used in this project is a fused deposition modeling (FDM) printer. These types of printers are the most popular, largely due to their relatively low cost, as is the printing material (thermoplastics).
