Binter Institutional Chair of Cybersecurity
Binter and the University of La Laguna have joined forces to create this Cybersecurity Chair with the main objective of supporting the Master's Degree in Cybersecurity and Data Intelligence from the University of La Laguna. Furthermore, this Chair aims to promote, in general, the advanced training of professionals to work in the fields of Information and Communication Technology security, and to encourage research and knowledge transfer in Cybersecurity through the group CryptULL research in Cryptology, and serve as a framework for dissemination and promotion to the general public in matters of Cybersecurity.

This Chair carries out different types of activities. In training, it organizes masterclasses and webinars, provides support for obtaining cybersecurity certifications, and facilitates national and international student mobility.
In research, support programs are developed for final degree projects, doctoral theses and research projects, and collaboration with other universities and institutions is encouraged through integration into research networks and collaborative projects.
In terms of outreach, promotional events are organized, news and interviews on topics of interest are disseminated, and scientific and technical meetings are promoted. In general, collaborations and synergies are fostered to achieve the social aims and objectives of both institutions.
