DATALAI Project (Data Lake):

In order to centralize critical data and information for the DATALAI project, it is proposed to create a repository or Data Lake. This will be continuously receiving updated data, making it possible to make real-time adjustments in scenarios of partial movement restrictions, allowing for the slowing of the development of outbreaks detected among the island's population.

Consumers will include both citizens, with information and recommendations, and the various stakeholders who require information for decision-making.

This Data Lake will be accessible through an app, updated in real time, and will provide information on:

  • Existing risk levels in certain areas of the island
  • Areas to avoid
  • Areas where you shouldn't be
  • Road closures
  • Public transport diversions avoiding those areas
  • Cleaning of public waiting and transit areas, such as bus stops
  • Recommendations given by public authorities and bodies

The information will be accessible via APIs so that it can be analyzed by third parties (universities, research groups, hospitals, technology institutes, etc.). In addition to the raw data, the results of the AI algorithms analyzing the information will also be made available.

In the first phase, the data sources already available to the participating entities will be incorporated into this Data Lake:

  • Traffic cameras, in terms of location, date, time, vehicle and vehicle type.
  • The OD matrices of public transport.
  • Mobile OD Matrices Data.
  • The data collected by the radial highways.
  • Data from 51 weather stations on the Island of Tenerife.
  • Air quality data.
  • Anonymized data from Reference Hospitals and Primary Care centers.
  • Work to ensure that, if permitted by a State of Alert, the structure is ready to house:

◦ Mobile Phone Data.

◦ Credit card usage trail.
