The Guidance and Tutorial Action Plan (POAT), of the Technical Architecture Section, has been prepared following the Guidelines for the preparation, implementation and consolidation of the guidance and tutorial action plans of the ULL Centers.
The specific objectives of the POAT in the Technical Architecture Section are:
To improve the adaptation of students to the University and the Center, promoting their integration into university life and into the bodies of participation and management.
To guide students on the resources and facilities of the Center, facilitating the channels and rules that guarantee their availability and good use.
To offer training and support to students for the acquisition of strategies that contribute to improving access to and management of information and autonomous learning.
Promote students' skills for the proper planning and use of their study time.
To help students acquire skills, abilities and capacities for academic and professional decision-making.
To guide students on employment options and continuing education.
To achieve these objectives, the following will be developed shares:
Career tutoring: This can be defined as the work carried out by a professor who is concerned with the comprehensive development of a small group of students throughout their studies. The aim is to contribute to the students' holistic development by continuously monitoring and optimizing their learning process and promoting independent learning, research, and professional development.
Guidance activities: These activities address students' needs related to information (information guides, consultations on course credits, courses, and financial aid) and supplementary training (courses and workshops for students). They aim to ensure that students at the center are connected with all the services at the University of La Laguna (ULL) that, in one way or another, cover guidance aspects.
