Workspaces

The existing workspaces available for student use are: classrooms outside of class hours (rooms 1 and 6, which remain open); the Library; and the Computer Lab. Upon personal request to the Section's Assistant Director, the Drawing classrooms (numbers 11 and 12) may be used for completing assignments for these subjects, as they are equipped with drawing tables.

Library

The library of the Technical Architecture Section and the Civil Engineering Section has an area of 340 m², with 119 reading stations and 6 computerized stations.

The library's collection comprises 11,099 print monographs and 406,958 electronic monographs available to all degree programs, 84 print journals, and 195 electronic journals. It also has 6 laptops available for student loan.

Laboratories, workshops and experimental spaces

Six laboratories and two workshops belonging to the departments linked to the Training Program of the degree.

Laboratories corresponding to the subjects of Construction Materials I and II, General Building Installations, Construction Equipment and Auxiliary Means, Graphic Expression.

Carpentry and locksmithing workshops located in the common area, used by the Construction subjects, for the visualization of the machinery and construction elements related to the specific subjects.

Computer lab

Managed by two interns working morning and afternoon shifts of 4 hours each day, with a weekly opening time of 40 hours and an average occupancy of 20 students per day. It is equipped with 23 terminals, network access, a laser printer, a color printer, and a licensed design program (AutoCAD) for the Center, as well as a projector for classroom use.

Spaces for academic staff

The Center has a Staff Room, an Auditorium (301 seats), and a Boardroom (54 seats). The latter is also a multimedia room equipped for videoconferencing.
