The Exchange System between Spanish University Centers, better known as the SICUE Program, is a system by which students of Spanish universities can carry out part of their studies in another Spanish university different from their own, with guarantees of academic recognition and achievement, as well as suitability to their curriculum profile.
This exchange system takes into account the educational value of the exchange, by making it possible for the student to experience different teaching systems, including the internship system, as well as the different social and cultural aspects of other autonomous communities and cities.

Erasmus+ is the European Union's program in the fields of education, training, youth, and sport. The program includes several key actions, most notably Key Action 1, which focuses on the mobility of individuals for learning purposes.
As part of Key Action 1, KA103 action "Mobility of students and staff in higher education between programme countries" aims to improve the quality of higher education and strengthen its European dimension by fostering transnational cooperation between higher education institutions, promoting the mobility of their students and teaching and non-teaching staff in order to improve transparency and academic recognition of studies and qualifications in all member countries of the Union.
Action KA103 promotes student mobility in two different modalities: SMS (Student Mobility for Studies) and SMT (Student Mobility for Training).
The SMS mobility program aims to allow students to study, generally for a semester or a full year with the corresponding credit recognition, at a university in one of the 28 countries of the European Union, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Turkey, as well as Switzerland, under special conditions.
Furthermore, the SMT internship period is a stay for a period of time in a company or organization in another participating country, and its purpose is to help people adapt to the demands of the labor market at a community level, acquire specific skills and improve their understanding of the economic and social environment of the country in question, while at the same time gaining work experience.
These mobility programs enable our graduates to acquire both the knowledge and skills they need and an international cultural background highly sought after in the job market. Among the program's objectives are providing students with the social and cultural experience of living in other countries, enhancing their academic preparation for employment, and strengthening their communication, cooperation, adaptation, and cultural understanding skills.
Promoting internationalization in the degree program is of utmost importance, since it is necessary to improve and encourage students to undertake mobility under the Erasmus program, thereby breaking the trend of students completing their degree training without having had the opportunity to anticipate their future internships and needs in other countries where the implementation of new degree programs adapted to the European Higher Education Area is already a reality.
On the other hand, the degree programs have a procedure, within the quality assurance system for the management of student mobility, which allows for the standardization of mobility across different degree programs, the planning of programs, the systematization of monitoring and evaluation procedures, as well as the regularization of support and guidance mechanisms for students once enrolled in relation to mobility.
