Silver bindweed

Silver bindweed is a climbing vine with woody stems that climbs other plants to reach sunlight. Its leaves are alternate, oblong-lanceolate, and grayish in color due to the downy hairs covering them. The funnel-shaped, blue flowers are borne in axillary inflorescences, with only 2-3 flowers per cluster. The fruit is a capsule containing 4 seeds. It is endemic to the Canary Islands.
