Tolda, wild spurge

A small shrub that can reach 50 cm in height, highly branched and compact, with narrow, cylindrical, jointed, green branches that are practically leafless. Small cyathia (small, clustered inflorescences) are arranged at the tips of its branches. The fruit is a capsule with three valves that burst open when ripe. Endemic to the Canary Islands.
