Euphorbia lamarckii Sweet

Bitter spurge, castor bean, wild spurge

A succulent shrub that can reach up to 4 m in height, highly branched with a dark gray main trunk and greenish branches. Leaves are oblong to linear-lanceolate (much longer than wide), light green in color, and have ovate-elliptic bracts. The cyathia (typical inflorescence of the genus) are arranged in umbel-like inflorescences at the tips of the branches.
