A perennial herbaceous plant, reaching up to approximately 50 cm in height. Leaves are arranged in both basal and cauline rosettes, are hairy, pinnatisect, with lobes having revolute and finely crenate margins. Flowers are in large heads, with white ray florets and yellow disc florets arranged in clusters at the ends of the branches. This species is endemic to the island of Tenerife, growing exclusively in the Anaga Massif region.
