Lavandula buchii

A shrub highly branched from its base. Old stems grayish, young stems greenish-white and quadrangular. Leaves decussate (opposite and at a 180° angle to those of the preceding and following nodes), uni- or bipinnatisect, subsucculent, and grayish (very tomentose). Flowers with a purple bilabiate corolla arranged in terminal, candelabra-like spikes. Endemic to the island of Tenerife.
