Activities
Additionally, the Cultural Classroom of Traditional and Heritage Carpentry at the University of La Laguna is committed to the comprehensive dissemination of this heritage. To this end, each school year, it organizes educational guided tours for primary, secondary, and vocational training students. These are cross-curricular activities that consist of training and informational activities. These tours aim to enrich the students' learning experience by showing them the Classroom facilities and EXPOACTULL, a permanent exhibition of educational and cultural interest.

Research activities and projects
At the same time, some collaborating members of the Cultural Classroom of Traditional and Heritage Carpentry at the University of La Laguna are part of distinguished scientific research teams focused on the study of traditional carpentry as a heritage element. This work has led to the development of a unique scientific output, and consequently, a deeper understanding of carpentry and the materials used in the Canary Islands. It should be noted that the raw materials for the carpentry developed on the islands are endemic woods that exhibit certain wood characteristics, which in many cases are distinctive and/or genuine, giving the finished pieces and elements unique characteristics, patinas, and finishes that differentiate them from other carpentry styles.
Scientific dissemination through lectures, workshops, or exhibitions combined with guided tours is also a crucial complement to scientific research.
