The PhD in Educational Sciences from the universities of La Laguna and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria responds to the present and future research needs in the field of education, in a social context that includes change and innovation as challenges towards inclusion, sustainability, technological development, attention to diversity, lifelong education, well-being and health, as well as the sociology of education, physical activities and sports, and even educational architecture, among others, in the face of social transformation. It provides a space for reflection and dialogue with specialists of recognized prestige where, from a consolidated European social framework and in cooperation with African and American spaces, as well as other non-EU spaces, they allow the extension of the offer to students from other universities and the mobility and exchange of doctoral students. All this is reflected in the development of two lines of research, which bring together a wide list of situations and problems that are the object of research.
