If necessary, the attendance and participation of the doctoral student in other national or foreign universities or research centers will be proposed, which are related to the lines of research included in the doctoral program and may be of interest to researchers in training.
Planning: temporary organisation of the activity for full-time or part-time students: The Programme's website will keep up-to-date with information on existing collaborations between the Doctoral Programme and internationally relevant foreign research groups that cover the different lines of research of the programme and the specific training interests of each doctoral student and enable all of them to opt for a stay throughout their doctoral training period. The assignment of exchanges and mobility activities in each case will be carried out in the order of request to the Academic Committee, one per student in each of the possible modalities.
The temporary organisation of mobility for each student will be proposed by agreement between the doctoral candidate, his or her tutor and/or thesis director.
In all cases, the Academic Committee will evaluate the mobility proposal of each doctoral student, within their plan of activities, and will decide on its approval with or without modifications.

This activity will be developed within the mobility programs that the University has established.
Control and evaluation procedure:
A report on the activities carried out and a certificate from the group leader in which the stay took place must be submitted.
Mobility actions:
It will be organized according to the following aspects:
Contents:
Mobility activities are aimed at promoting student exchange and mobility in the Doctoral Program in Educational Sciences through established mobility programs and grants or to which students may apply. These will consist of stays for a total of 350 hours (480 in the case of an international mention) at prestigious national and/or international research centers, conducting research relevant to their doctoral training and the development of their doctoral thesis, and which will enhance the research lines of the various research groups integrated into the program.
Planning: temporary organization of the activity for full-time or part-time students:
To this end, the program's website will maintain updated information on existing collaborations between the Doctoral Program and internationally renowned foreign research groups that address the program's various lines of research and the specific training interests of each doctoral student. This will allow all students to opt for a stay during their doctoral training period. The timing of each student's mobility will be proposed by agreement between the doctoral student and their tutor and/or thesis supervisor. In the case of a research stay, the schedule must be reflected in a mobility plan linked to the research plan, specifying the objectives, duration, research center, and the researcher in charge at that center.
The stay will preferably take place in the last two years of the doctoral programme for full-time students and in the last three years for those who do it part-time. In the case of carrying out several stays in the international mention, at least one of them will have a minimum duration of one month.
Planning: Material resources for its development:
Mobility grants aimed at promoting training activities include programmes from the vice-chancellors of the ULL and ULPGC, with responsibilities in research and internationalisation.
Mobility grants according to different calls and organizations:
Where appropriate, stays abroad may be undertaken within the framework of bilateral joint supervision agreements with a foreign university (thesis under international joint supervision) and in the form of an international doctorate.
Temporary Planning of Training Activities:
The following table shows a possible time schedule for all training activities (TA) so that they can be carried out properly by doctoral students in a timely manner:
Table. Proposed timeline for training activities based on full-time or part-time enrollment
The above planning suggests the organization of the program for the doctoral student with the objective of completing the Training Activities in a timely manner, without limiting the personal right to present their Training Activities before, during or at the end of the four or seven years depending on whether they are studying full-time or part-time, but always prior to the submission of the doctoral thesis.
They will be evaluated using an evaluation rubric obtained from the correct completion of each and every one of the training activities and the rest of the requirements: Commitment form, Annual research plan and signature of commitment to the ethical code.
The doctoral programme includes the participation of international experts in the monitoring committees, in the issuance of reports prior to the presentation of doctoral theses and in the thesis reading committees, but not in the Academic Committee, which, in special circumstances, may require the presence of an expert for information purposes and without a vote.
In the rest of the committees (doctoral theses, tribunals, evaluation committees, etc.) they will participate on equal terms with the rest of the members of the same, having to prove their status as a doctor, without having to comply with the rest of the requirements established for university professors.
