Overview

This micro-credential equips individuals to analyze business situations, identifying problems, opportunities, and strategic factors through diagnostic methodologies. The program addresses the design of innovative and viable solutions, as well as the development and communication of professional proposals, assessing their impact on competitiveness, sustainability, and efficiency.

  • Develop applied innovation capabilities in real business contexts.

  • Designing innovative solutions that are operationally and economically viable, promoting a culture of intrapreneurship as a lever for organizational competitiveness.

Access requirements

A university degree is not required to access this micro-credential. However, students wishing to access it must meet the following requirements:

  • Students must be between 25 and 64 years old on the date the training begins.
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent, or hold a higher-level vocational training qualification, preferably in the fields of marketing, administration, management, commerce, finance, or similar.
  • Possess prior professional experience or demonstrated interest in the business environment, whether as an employee, self-employed professional, entrepreneur, or actively seeking employment.

Block 1. Introduction to intrapreneurship and presentation of the Business Challenge

Block 3. Designing innovative solutions for the business challenge

Block 4. Organizational and economic viability of the proposals

  • Technical feasibility assessment in the real company.

Block 5. Professional communication and proposal presentation

  • Preparation of a structured executive report.

Methodology and activities

The training activities to be carried out during the delivery of the micro-credential will be:

  • Theoretical classes: expository, explanatory or demonstration sessions of the contents and knowledge.
  • Practical classes: sessions of practical application of the content developed in the theoretical classes, through the resolution of exercises, problems or theoretical-practical scenarios
  • Work: preparation of a study, essay, work… proposed in the subject, either individually or in a group following established guidelines.
  • Independent work: independent and self-regulated activity of the student based on the documentation and guidelines proposed in the subject, preparation of classes and exams, preparation of final reports, internship reports…
  • Presentations, debates and defenses of works and projects: activity through which students present works, exercises, projects… based on established criteria, demonstrating sufficiency and maturity in the acquisition of the planned competencies.
  • Tutoring (individual, group…): activity in which the teaching staff attends to, facilitates and guides one or more students in the training process.
  • Field trips/visits: an activity carried out outside the classroom. Its objective is for students to put what they have learned in class into practice in a real-world context, which will allow them to reinforce the theoretical content (meaningful learning).

Regarding the way to organize the teaching to achieve the objectives set out in the micro-credential, the organizational modality summarized below will be followed:

  • Master classes/expository method: structured presentation of the fundamentals of intrapreneurship, business diagnostic methodologies and the conceptual frameworks necessary for solving organizational challenges.
  • Practical classes: development of supervised activities aimed at the application of analysis, diagnosis and design tools for innovative solutions linked to the proposed Business Challenge.
  • Individual work: individual preparation of specific contributions to the group project, analysis of relevant information and preparation of materials for the development of the Business Challenge.
  • Group work: collaborative development of proposed solutions, design of action plans and joint preparation of the final professional report.
  • Tutoring: support and guidance of students by teachers and collaborating professionals, facilitating the monitoring of the training process and the resolution of difficulties.
  • Active methodologies: application of project-based learning and problem-solving approaches, focused on the analysis and resolution of real business challenges, promoting active student participation.
  • Field trips, visits: activities developed in real business environments that allow contextualizing the challenge posed and reinforcing the connection between academic learning and professional practice.

Evaluation criteria

The microcredential will have an evaluation system (ES) based on the following assessment tests:

  • Case studies, exercises and problems: evaluation of the process of analysis and resolution of the real business challenge presented, applying in a reasoned way the methodologies and tools worked on during the micro-credential.
  • Attendance, participation or attitude in teaching activities, seminars, tutorials, etc.: assessment of the active involvement of students in training sessions, their participation in debates, work dynamics and follow-up tutorials of the Business Challenge.
  • Works, memoirs, internship reports, written reports and projects: preparation of a structured professional report that includes the diagnosis of the business challenge, the proposed solution and its organizational and economic viability.
  • Oral presentation and defense of topics, work, etc.: presentation and oral defense of the proposals developed before the teaching staff and representatives of the collaborating company, demonstrating professional communication skills and technical argumentation.
