The Learn Africa Scholarship Program was promoted by the Women for Africa Foundation, in collaboration with nineteen Spanish universities, including the University of La Laguna. Its primary objective is to promote knowledge transfer, exchange, and training for African undergraduate and graduate students through scholarships at Spanish universities collaborating in this initiative.
The scholarships are funded by the participating universities, all of which are members of the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE), and cover round-trip travel, tuition and fees, accommodation, meals, and health insurance.
Although the duration will depend on the modality agreed upon with each host university and the training program offered, it ranges from six months for some research stays to four years for others aimed at pursuing Master's and Doctoral studies.

To apply for these grants, the following is required:

Be a woman and have the nationality of an African country.

Be enrolled at an African university or hold a university degree issued in an African country. For postgraduate scholarships, a bachelor's degree is required. The required qualification may vary depending on the scholarship applied for (See detailed information for each scholarship).
