The admission profile is the knowledge, skills and abilities of the students who access the degree.

The Master's Degree in Biomedicine will allow access to graduates who meet the requirements of art. 16 of RD 1393/2007 and who also have the required level of English B1. This Master's Degree is aimed at graduates in Biology, Medical Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Food Science and Technology, Nursing, Physics, Physiotherapy, Medicine, Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Chemistry and Psychology.

Graduation profile

The graduate profile is the skills, knowledge and abilities that the student must have acquired upon completion of the degree. This information is included in the section on competencies/learning outcomes defined for the title.

Graduates of this Master's Degree in Biomedicine will therefore be qualified with specialised and advanced training, with professional skills and qualifications, and experts in analytical techniques in molecular biology and in their biomedical and/or biotechnological applications. Successful completion of this Master's Degree will provide them with complete, rigorous and up-to-date training in the methodology and concepts of biomedicine and the specialty studied, with basic training in the bioethical aspects involved, the foundations and legal aspects of animal experimentation, and the design and analysis of data from biological studies and samples. They will also be qualified to use current techniques in research fields related to biomedicine, which will allow them to undertake research tasks in laboratories in both public and private centres. In addition, graduates will be able to undertake doctoral studies and continue their usual research career in any national or international centre.
