Internships in companies, organizations and institutions are mandatory in those master's degrees that have it established in their curriculum. They involve bringing students closer to real situations, complementing the training received with the reality of the working world.
Internships include both hours spent in companies/institutions and those dedicated to academic tutoring and portfolio development.
Approximately 10 hours of academic tutoring and another 10 hours for completing the portfolio are planned. The teaching methodology will always be active and participatory, complemented, where appropriate, by specific theoretical and practical training. The offer of internship positions will be subject to the needs and circumstances of the companies/institutions participating in this training program and will be regulated in accordance with the External Internship Regulations approved by the University of La Laguna. Students must meet the requirements for attendance at the internship locations and meetings with the academic tutors of the external internships.
The agreements that the Master in Tourism Management and Planning has with companies in the sector are listed in the following document.
Academic internships may be carried out in collaborating entities/companies, such as companies, institutions, public/private entities, public administrations or dependent organizations, etc.
For the development of external internships, the University of La Laguna maintains the necessary agreements with companies, organizations and institutions in which it is considered that students can acquire the professional skills appropriate to the degree and that respond to the professional profiles defined in the Report.
