Purpose of the Master's Degree

  • This master's degree is also very educational for technologists and researchers in other sciences who wish to acquire or update their knowledge of applied mathematical, statistical or computer tools.
  • Students will be able to use the software tools most commonly used in industry and business for process simulation, for the treatment of large amounts of data, for resource optimization, logistics, etc. They will be able to understand, model and obtain solutions to problems that arise in the field of business, engineering and other sciences, and to develop computer applications for the numerical simulation of processes that arise in business in general.
  • The objective of this interuniversity master's degree is to train researchers in Mathematics and applications with a high degree of scientific and technical training, with advanced knowledge and practical experience in the applications of Mathematics and Statistics and in the use of computing in R&D&I tasks.

Who is it for?

  • The entry profile is a graduate or bachelor in science (Mathematics, Physics, Biotechnology,...) or engineering with a vocation to train in mathematics oriented to deal with and solve problems that arise in the field of industry, companies, technological centres and other sciences. Also, the Master is adapted to a profile interested in starting a research career in Mathematics.
